Devon Christians raise thousands for Haiti
Churchgoers across Devon have raised tens of thousands of pounds to support the victims of the Haitian earthquake which killed an estimated 200,000 people.

From posing with Daleks to tolling the church bells, concerts to coffee mornings, cake sales to jumble sales – Christians have been coming up with enterprising ways to raise money for the Haiti appeal.

1100th Anniversary > About this Section
In 2009 Churches of all denominations across Devon are celebrating 1100 years of the westward expansion of Christianity from Sherborne to Devon. Many events are organised for the year, the climax of which is a Celebration Day in Exeter on Saturday 27 June 2009. See details about the celebration day at www.exeter.anglican.org
